It is a great place to stop for pastry and ice cream when in Mandeville. They have good customer service. The place is clean and inviting. Seating area outside. To the best of my knowledge there is no public toilet available. It maybe a problem accessing if you are disabled and in a wheelchair. Otherwise I love it.

The main thing I love about this place is that the high quality of the ice cream has been the same since my childhood. I believe they have changed management over the years but the Devon House ice cream remains the same. I am stickler for chocolate ice cream and this is the BEST I have ever had from anywhere I’ve been in the world. The Devon Stout is also top tier and one of the most unique flavors I’ve ever tasted. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve tried here yet and I’ve been coming here for well over 3 decades!

The ice cream is the original Devon House ice cream so if you are in the area and feel for it then this is definitely the place to get it. My 8 year old and 6 year old approve of the taste and size of the one scoop regular cone. I do believe inside could have more lighting and be more esthetically pleasing however overall I will be back. One scoop with a regular cone was $700 JMD at the time
